PSTX: A Unit of Purpose
The PowerShift™ Token (PSTX) is the utility token for the PowerShift™ Ecosystem, providing an economic measure of purpose and a way for ecosystem participants to earn and reward for purposeful activities.
How It Works
The PowerShift™ economy transcends capitalism without denying it. However, PowerShift™ organizations still need to be commercially sustainable and attractive businesses.
This is vital for the broad adoption of the ideas of distributed authority and purpose orientation. They sound much more compelling for a broad range of stakeholders when formulated in commercial terms (drastically lower overhead, high rate of innovation) rather than in ethical or philosophical terms. For such ideas to be persuasive, they need to be supported by real-life evidence.
The Powershift Ecosystem is committed to making its members commercially successful. Our strategy for this is to encourage active collaboration among members, which includes two main aspects:
- Doing pro-social activities that benefit the entire Ecosystem;
- Buying products and services from PowerShift™ companies instead of the general market.
One of the tools used for promoting such cooperation is Powershift Brand Token – PSTX. It serves as the engine of economic activity within the PowerShift™ ecosystem.
Primary Use Cases
Awarding individuals (or companies) for contributions they make; individuals spend tokens with Ecosystem members. Individuals are incentivized to spend tokens with members because they can receive discounts on products or services using tokens.
Members purchase tokens and award their users for positive actions – such as consuming their products or helping other users. Users can further spend tokens with any other member to receive discounts or bonuses.
